Who Should Buy Targeted Vibration Products?

Best fit:
Targeted vibration products are best suited for clinics that want portable tools for local soft tissue preparation, mobility work, recovery routines, and patient home-care programs. They are also a strong fit for practices that want wholesale-to-retail patient resale opportunities without adding a large platform or dedicated treatment room.

Not ideal for:
Targeted vibration is not a substitute for whole body vibration when the clinical goal is global neuromuscular activation, balance challenge, or platform-based movement training. It is also not ideal as the only option for clinics that want a premium in-office modality experience.

Common clinical uses:

  • Local tissue preparation before treatment
  • Muscle tightness and soreness support
  • Mobility routines
  • Post-exercise recovery
  • Patient home-care recommendations
  • Staff-assisted soft tissue preparation
  • Retail product sales to patients

Typical practice types:

  • Chiropractic offices
  • Physical therapy clinics
  • Podiatry practices
  • Massage therapy offices
  • Sports performance facilities
  • Wellness clinics
  • Practices looking for retail add-on products

Questions to ask before purchasing:

  • Will the products be used in clinic, sold to patients, or both?
  • Which body regions do your patients commonly ask about: feet, calves, back, shoulders, neck, or larger muscle groups?
  • Do you need a massage gun, roller, dual sphere, or compact travel option?
  • Will staff demonstrate use before resale?
  • Do you want one product type or a broader targeted vibration display?

Ask which targeted vibration products best fit your clinic and patient resale strategy.

                                Frequently Asked Questions
Power Plate targeted vibration products give healthcare providers and patients a practical way to apply localized vibration therapy for muscle preparation, recovery, range of motion, fascia release, and everyday relief from tight or sore muscles.

How many devices are in a box?

Six handheld vibration products are in the case.  They are packaged and ready to sell to patients.

Can I mix and match products to add up to the six products in each case?

No.  Only the same product in the case of six..

What is targeted vibration therapy?

Targeted vibration therapy uses localized vibration or percussive stimulation to address specific areas of muscle tension, soreness, stiffness, or restricted mobility. Unlike whole body vibration, which stimulates the body through a platform, targeted vibration is applied directly to a muscle group, joint region, fascia line, or hard-to-reach area such as the feet, calves, neck, shoulders, or back.

How is targeted vibration different from whole body vibration?

Whole body vibration is typically performed on a platform and is used to stimulate larger neuromuscular responses, balance training, circulation, and functional movement. Targeted vibration is more localized. It is commonly used before or after exercise, therapy, or rehabilitation sessions to help prepare tissues, reduce muscle tightness, support recovery, and improve comfort in specific regions.

What areas of the body can targeted vibration be used on?

Targeted vibration may be used on many common areas of muscle tension, including the calves, quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, back, shoulders, neck, feet, and forearms. The Power Plate DualSphere is especially useful for hard-to-reach areas such as the feet, neck, and back, while rollers and handheld devices may be useful for larger muscle groups.

Can targeted vibration be used before exercise or therapy?

Yes. Targeted vibration can be used as part of a pre-treatment or pre-exercise routine to help warm tissues, stimulate local circulation, reduce perceived stiffness, and prepare patients for movement. In a clinical setting, it may be used before stretching, mobility work, strengthening, balance training, or whole body vibration sessions.

Can targeted vibration be used after treatment or exercise?

Yes. Many providers use targeted vibration after exercise, therapy, or whole body vibration to help reduce muscle tension, promote relaxation, and support recovery. Power Plate describes its targeted vibration products as useful for post-workout recovery, helping to alleviate soreness and enhance relaxation.

Are targeted vibration products appropriate for home use?

Yes. Targeted vibration products can be used in the clinic and may also be appropriate for home use when patients are properly instructed. For healthcare providers, these devices may support continuity of care by giving patients a practical way to manage muscle tightness, recovery, and mobility between visits. Patients should follow the provider’s recommendations for duration, intensity, treatment area, and precautions.

Who should avoid targeted vibration therapy?

Targeted vibration should be used with clinical judgment. Patients should consult a healthcare professional before use if they have acute injury, active inflammation, open wounds, suspected fracture, deep vein thrombosis, implanted electronic devices, uncontrolled medical conditions, pregnancy-related concerns, impaired sensation, or significant pain of unknown origin. Targeted vibration should not be applied directly over open wounds, unstable joints, acute clots, tumors, or areas where vibration is contraindicated.
